Who we are?

The Center for Studies and Innovation in Knowledge Management (CEIEC) is an Institute created in 2007 by the Francisco de Vitoria University with the support of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce (Call for Reference Centers and Digital Content - Plan AVANZA; BOE September 20, 2007; PAV-100,000-2007-412) and of the European Union through the Feder Funds.


To promote and develop, alone or collaborating, ICT solutions to promote the transformation of the society improving the quality of life, helping to remove barriers and universalising the education and the knowledge, inside the model of Person-Centered Computing.


Help creating and distributing the knowledge as important part of the cultural and economic activities of the society through the initiatives and projects in R&D&i that could be a benefit to those collectives of citizens at exclusion risk, with special attention to elders, youth and disable people and their families, making techonological innovation with social accent.


Knowledge, education, innovation, social responsibility, academic and research excellency, creativity and initiative, through R&D&i projects, diffusion of research results and programs in educationthat make useful, accesible and attractive the usage of new technologies and ease its approach.
